We are looking for a commercially minded Business Development professional to join our US Commercial team and scale Huma’s digital solution empowering and engaging patients to take control of their care while providing insights to healthcare providers. A successful candidate will continuously identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across different markets. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial, self-starter, and lover of ambiguity, who has a proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and build out new businesses.
By joining the US Commercial team, you will contribute to solving their key challenges of introducing Huma’s RPM platform to the US market while securing deals across a range of clients.
Your mission
- Drive acquisition of new business through new/greenfield pharmaceutical company accounts
- Show a deep understanding of the sales process and sales model
- Identify and develop strategies for new prospect acquisition
- Support the delivery teams by handing over the projects so that they can be delivered
- Build and maintain customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization
- Manage named accounts to achieve clearly defined sales and revenue goals
- Conduct prospecting activity to identify potential new clients and source new business opportunities
- Develop collaborative client relationships in order to expand business with existing accounts
- Work closely with the executive management to establish successful channel and partner programs
- Document client interactions in CRM system and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Collaborate with the broader commercial development team to continuously improve sales process and materials
- Work with the marketing team on client facing materials including proposals and presentations
- Participate in industry conferences and events
- Provide client feedback to product development team
- Scale Huma’s companion and SaMD solutions across biopharma partners
From day one in this role we’ll expect you to have
- 5+ years business development experience in digital health or life sciences
- Extensive proven ability to sell SaaS solutions to pharmaceutical companies and/or CRO’s
- Broad experience across the full clinical development portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sciences or a related discipline
- Strong commercial acumen – naturally energized by delivering a contract and revenue target
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
It’s great, but not required, if you have
- Start-up experience
- Previously sold a digital solution
- Knowledge of an experience with CRM tools. platforms and ability to utilize the CRM tool provided to manage contacts and opportunities
