About the Brokers and Partnerships Manager at Headspace Health:

Headspace is looking for a Brokers and Partnerships Manager to join our B2B sales organisation. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager Healthcare Partnerships you will uncover, develop and close sales opportunities by working closely with brokers and their partner employers to understand their business goals and act as a guide to bringing Headspace Health to their employee base. 

  • To be successful in this role, you need to have a deep understanding of the health and wellness space and/or mindfulness as a category, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quota carrying channel or partner sales role. 
  • We are seeking an experienced business development lead with a track record of structuring and managing growth partnerships with leading international health insurers and/or wellness partners.
  • An ideal candidate is experienced at developing and managing a complex and diverse partner landscape, skilled at client presentations, and adept at detailed product conversations and integrations.
  • You have a self-starter mentality and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is focused on growth. You have the expertise to build winning strategies and partnerships that generate long-term results.  
  • Previous experience in broker management and partner  sales environments is key..

Location: This role is open to remote employees in London.

 

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace Health:

  • Develop and manage our International broker channel strategy, specifically focused on health and benefits brokers across priority markets.
  • Sales forecasting and opportunity qualification.
  • Structure business models, contracts and negotiate terms to maximise partnerships.
  • Manage the end to end process of new partnership implementation.
  • Manage a pipeline of outbound and inbound requests from brokers to qualify opportunities.
  • Sales forecasting, reporting  and participation in pipeline reviews to track and monitor progress to goal.
  • Educate partners on how to sell Headspace Health, creating and providing collateral to create qualified opportunities.
  • Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews to review partnership performance, number of referrals and opportunities for co-collaboration.
  • Lead challenging commercial conversations when expectations are not being met from within existing partnerships. 
  • Support Finance to set up commercial payment models.
  • Define and manage quota attainment, identify roadblocks and create solutions that allow effortless sales execution.
  • Lead process improvement and operational excellence discussions.
  • Report gaps and agree strategies to improve overall performance and attainment of sales goals.

 

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 5+ years work experience in a channel sales role, preferably within insurance / employee benefits space.
  • Experience selling to brokers, insurance providers, benefits, people and/or healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in closing large, complex deal structures within a broker or partner sales channel (including contract negotiations and implementation). 
  • Driven and compelled to achieve goals, but always putting the customer first.
  • Excellent communication skills – spoken and written.
  • Track record of identifying prospects and opportunities and successfully developing and closing B2B solutions.
  • Strong relationship and rapport-building skills at all levels within an organization.
  • Experience in a third party sales environment is desirable.
  • Experience of coaching developing sales professionals.
