Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant position is a hybrid (remote + corporate office) role that offers a great opportunity for the ideal candidate to make an immediate impact in our fast-growing organization.  Reporting to the Manger, Accounting, you will play an important role in the development of many finance functions, including streamlining processes, implementing/leveraging technology, and enhancing internal controls.  You will assist in analyzing, summarizing and reporting financial results to management, drafting financial policies, and supporting annual audit.  You will work closely with our Finance, Sales Operations, Human Resources, and Operations teams as we build tools and reports to improve financial reporting analysis, metrics management, and drive process optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the month/quarter-end close processes, including ensure assigned transactions have been recorded, accounts reconciled, and reporting completed on a timely basis
• Analyze monthly/quarterly results against prior period, operating plan and/or forecast
• Analyze and report periodic key metrics related to month-end close and financial operations
• Prepare schedules and support the external audits, quarterly reviews, and tax returns
• Develop and update key accounting and financial policies
• Implement and follow Finance’s internal controls
• Sales and use tax filings
• Participate in and/or lead projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of increasing finance and accounting responsibility
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CPA eligible preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or product environment company, with fundamental knowledge of cost accounting concepts; medical device experience a plus
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with larger ERP systems; NetSuite preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs
• Experience with hyper-growth environments preferred
