Evotec are currently recruiting for an IT Group Leader (Site services) who will be responsible for managing the running lifecycle of all infrastructure and Support Services at Evotec sites in the UK.

 

Key Responsibilities or Core Accountabilities:

  • You will be responsible for leading the 2 onsite IT Support and System Admin teams in the UK
  • You are responsible for identifying IT site demand and to direct and assist the local technical IT site teams and Global IT services with the development of IT solutions and services to meet these demands
  • You will act as a key account manager for IT demands from our internal customers and key users for the delivery, quality, and innovation of IT services in the workplace
  • You will identify, define and ensure the required service quality, focused on user and customer experience, workforce efficiency and business value
  • To work with your colleagues from other countries to develop specifications and standards that fit Evotec’s requirements
  • To understand business demand and needs and find the appropriate services within the global IT teams to deliver the solutions
  • To be able to understand and appreciate technical concepts in order to make management decisions to support the teams in technical trouble shooting, problem solving and technical service delivery
  • To help create and manage the IT budget for the UK sites

 

Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:

  • Good general technical understating of IT infrastructure, desktop system and software’s
  • Proven track record and experience in the management of global IT Infrastructure and IT Workplace Services
  • Understanding of IT process (e.g. ITIL, Gamp 5 or similar)
  • Excellent customer and service orientation attitude
  • Possess a high level of self-initiative and drive for introducing best practices and establishing new ways of working
  • Able to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution
  • Highly organised and able to balance priorities

 

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in Technical infrastructure and desktop systems Management
  • Bachelor´s degree in Business Informatics / Business Administration or similar
  • Significant experience in IT service management or a Workplace Services role in an IT organisation for large or global companies
  • Experience of being a member of a senior management meeting and handling relationships with senior management and Site heads
  • Experience in project management and in management of internal and external IT services
  • Experience of people management
