Fillauer was founded in 1914 by George Fillauer, Sr. In the mid-1920’s, Fillauer expanded its business to provide orthotic and prosthetic devices as well as patient care. Presently, Fillauer remains a privately-held company comprised of seven business units, employing over 200 team members.

 

Description:

Fillauer LLC is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support customers and ensure a smooth sales process. You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism while offering accurate and quick assistance to customers using knowledge of Fillauer’s policies and products.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Displays and maintains a high level of patience, friendliness, and professionalism with all customers and internal relations.
  • Continuously monitors and answers incoming customer inquiries by phone and email.
  • Receives and processes customer orders, customer complaints, product inquires, billing inquiries, delivery inquires, etc. as required in a timely manner.
  • Maintains documentation of all communications with customers.
  • Maintains up to date customer information in the customer database.
  • Resolves product or service issues by obtaining detailed information, offering solutions, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Refers complaints requiring investigation to appropriate departments or management.
  • Seeks knowledge of new and current products and processes.
  • Participates in training and team meetings.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including planning, purchasing, marketing, sales, and education.
  • Adheres to safe work practices and established processes and procedures.
  • Performs other tasks as needed to support the success of the organization.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, willing to learn and reliable
  • Preferred experience utilizing a CRM
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
