Job Title: Marketing Internship

Job Reports To: Marketing Coordinator
Start/End Dates: 08/1/2022-01/31/2023

 

Position Overview

Support the marketing team with development, planning, executing, and tracking of marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns. Responsibilities may include analyzing data to monitor campaigns and evaluate results, creating and managing the production of marketing collateral, helping with the organization of events, and providing project-specific administrative support.

Internship is anticipated to lead in to full time employment.

 

Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ year marketing, sales, advertising or public relations experience
  • Associates Degree, Bachelor preferred
  • Seniors are preferred since full time employment is a possibility at the end of internship
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with emphasis on media-related written skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with suppliers, vendors and other outside organizations as necessary to fulfill essential job duties
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, work well under pressure and handle stressful situations
  • High degree of initiative with the ability to work independently and resolve problems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, website management, marketing automation and analytics tools

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team including planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Help assist in the organization and coordination marketing events such as conferences, webinars, and trade shows
  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to monitor campaign efficiency and analyze trends
  • Prepare, write, edit, and format content for a range of documents that may include quality control documents, white papers, case studies and presentations
  • Understand company products and brand
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Collaborate with clients and partners on marketing strategy
  • Help identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
  • Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing
  • Work closely with sales department
  • Creating marketing materials such as white papers, case studies, and presentations
  • Conduct and collect market research
