We are looking for a commercially minded Business Development professional to join our global MedTech team and scale Huma’s digital solution empowering and engaging patients to take control of their care whilst providing insights to healthcare providers and further value for medical device organizations. Medtech is at a point of heightened digitisation, with a wealth of opportunities to improve healthcare access and the utility and development of medical devices for patients, providers and payers globally. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial self-starter, who has a proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and build out new businesses.

By joining the MedTech team, you will primarily contribute to the important key challenge of identifying and bringing on board strategic partners in the  medical device segment to collaborate with Huma on digitizing health and research through MedTech companies. This is an opportunity to establish what partnerships between HealthTech and MedTech companies will look like in the future, and how they can impact patient outcomes whilst augmenting medical device value.

You will excel in our fast-paced environment, you’ll confidently take ownership of high-level commercial activities and be calm in the face of constant change and activity.

 

Your mission

  • Scale Huma’s Remote Patient Monitoring, Digital Companion Tools, and SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) solutions across top medical devices companies in the DACH region
  • Uncover new growth opportunities and work autonomously to secure them
  • Oversee critical aspects of deal development and execution, such as pricing, contract negotiation and closing
  • Maintain existing, and build new, strong relationships with key stakeholders across the life sciences industry
  • Be a strong contributor to the broader commercial growth strategy and expansion

 

From day one in this role we’ll expect you to have

  • 5+ years business development experience in digital health, SaaS or medtech, preferably in B2B sales into medtech
  • In-depth knowledge of medtech product development and commercialization
  • A strong network across medtech companies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in sciences or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial acumen – naturally energized by delivering a contract and revenue target
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

It’s great, but not required, if you have

  • Proven ability to sell softwrwe solutions to medtech companies
  • ​​Knowledge of and experience with CRM tools/platforms and ability to utilize the CRM tool provided to manage contacts and opportunities
