Job Description
Here it is for the theory: As a Project manager, you will manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time within budget. You will execute your projects in accordance with MindMaze project management methodology developing and prioritizing tasks and resources, managing ongoing performance and post implementation evaluations.
In practice: You will be the liaison between the team and the internal client and will drive projects and manage the people defining the “what” and giving support on the “how” if needed. As a project manager, you will not be the most important but the more responsible, ensuring the balance is kept between teams and doing what is good for MindMaze not what is most popular. The role is about removing roadblocks and making every day as efficient and productive as possible in an agile and fast growing environment. At last, you will have to centralise information, gather knowledge and know everything about everything that is going on, reporting value added information to the management.
You will:
- Plan the roadmap with the technical/marketing/clinical team, manage projects and resources
- Participate in product design and architecture
- Plan / Prioritize improvements for the devices’ development
- Interface with our manufacturing partners for HW industrialization and Supply Chain integration when applicable
- Produce the associated documentation, following applicable standards and MindMaze’s procedures
- Meet with the client team, gather requirements, conduct regular meetings and track project progress
- Follow up and ensure deadlines and budget constraints are met and take corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure close relationship with the key internal leads to validate the scope and direction of the project
- Extract, compile and present information to facilitate decision making by key stakeholders
- Manage changes and adapt plans in a timely manner, optimizing resources and results
- Be in a coaching and guiding role about every aspect of the project so that the team is happy to learn from you and is ready to rock & roll
- Build and implement the best practices for performing all the tasks through effective communication and monitoring of how well the teammates are performing their tasks, supporting them individually.
- Work with a team of experts in various fields: engineering, clinical, sciences and marketing in a High-Tech environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering with Electronics or Mechanical specialization
- 5 years of industrial work experience with at least 3 years as a successful project manager
- Experience with medical device product development or in another highly regulated environment (aerospace or highly regulated industry)
- Experience with mechatronic products development and industrialization is a must
- Strong risk management skills, anticipation and mitigation measures planning
- Ability to influence individuals and groups to resolve conflicts and achieve objectives
- Excellent communication skills at all levels with strong ability to make decisions
- Attention to details with a combined global view
- Rigorous budgeting practice and know where the money goes as it was yours
- Know the entire product development process from the concept phase through development, regulatory approval, production setup and launch
- Be a skilled leader of cross functional teams with specialists and highly skilled employees
- Fluent in English, French a plus
