We are looking for an experienced team leader to build out the deployment and operational support we provide to customers of our decentralized (virtual) clinical trial platform. Already working at a leadership level, you will have deep expertise in clinical trials operations and an enthusiasm about how digital technologies can improve recruitment, diversity, retention and lower costs. You will know how to work with our engineering and product teams, putting in place the internal processes necessary to scale, as well as the client-facing programme management skills necessary for a successful engagement. You will build and manage a brilliant team of implementation specialists focused on delivering our decentralized clinical trials programmes.

Your mission

• Take overall accountability for the successful delivery of Huma’s decentralized clinical trials programs
• Build and lead a global team of high-caliber implementation specialists that establish Huma’s reputation as a company that delivers results
• Implement a scalable approach to delivery of DCT solutions internally, introducing continuous improvement approaches and metrics
• Engage our most senior customers, ensuring they get the support and service they need; build a team that is expert in program and stakeholder management
• Drive user/participant uptake working closely with our customer success and product teams
• Develop templates, documentation, and other tools to simplify workflows for internal and external customers, automating where possible
• Define success metrics and track their performance, using this intelligence to drive internal improvements

From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have

• A minimum of 8+ years experience in a related role within a DCT business, CRO or pharmaceutical business
• Expert understanding of the clinical trials process and the value digital approaches can bring
• Experience working with senior pharmaceutical executives and an understanding of the dynamics of their industry and organisations
• Experience leading a team in a related business
• Strong working knowledge of project management software tools, e.g. Jira, Asana or other digital PM tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and deal with ambiguity

It’s great, but not required, if you have

• Already worked in a start-up or early stage environment and loved it!
• A strong understanding of regulatory and compliance for software medical devices
• A masters or PhD in a related discipline
