About the Senior Software Engineer, Web at Headspace Health:
Headspace Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Membership team. We drive the conversion and retention efforts at Headspace Health. As part of this team, you’ll be tasked with prototyping, architecting, and executing on the creation of our platform, and be integral in driving growth of our consumer subscription business. We are looking for a highly-talented web developer who can help build the next gen monetization experience
How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace Health:
- Create beautiful, engaging web applications in React/Redux
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, ship and monitor new features
- Tech spec and code review for web development across Headspace
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
What you’ve accomplished:
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience
- Proficiency in React/Redux and JavaScript ecosystem
- Exposure to alerting and monitoring
- Experience with testing – Unit tests best practices, E2E-tests (We are responsible to test what we ship )
- Experience creating technical specifications and ability to estimate timelines for projects
- Self starter, can do attitude, team player and overall sense of ownership
