Compensation Manager II, Interventional Cardiology
About the role:
The Compensation Manager will lead the Interventional Cardiology Compensation team. You will be responsible for the overall compensation function including comp plan and awards design and implementation, quota allocation, comp expense budgeting, pay feed administration and comp plan effectiveness analytics. This role is also responsible for data maintenance and performance reporting accuracy.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a high functioning Interventional Cardiology Compensation team.
- Effectively collaborate with finance, sales leadership, marketing, and other sales operations functions to execute on commercial strategies.
- Develop, design, and implement effective compensation plans to support commercial strategies.
- Researches and recommends compensation best practices.
- Establish clear and consistent policies with respect to field compensation activities.
- Accurately budget compensation expenses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate compensation administration and pay distribution.
- Facilitate sales quota distribution process in collaboration with Sales Strategy, Marketing and Finance.
- Execute data maintenance processes to ensure accurate performance reporting.
- Develop insightful analytics and tools to support plan design, understanding of programs, and effectiveness
- Provide field sales management with reporting and tools relative to field sales personnel performance.
- Develop and execute sales awards programs.
- Provide leadership on day to day tasks for team members.
- Lead large and complex projects to support strategic initiatives and effectively partner across the organization.
- Collaborates with IT to develop data capture tools and ongoing process improvements including systems integration, consolidation, and advancement. Assists in setting long term information technology goals for the selling organization.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements)
What we’re looking for in you:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in finance, compensation, or sales operations
- Experience leading a team with common vision, capabilities, process, technology, and tasks.
- Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies.
- Strong business acumen and experience interacting with various level of management
- Experience leading cross function teams and projects.
- Demonstrated success driving process improvement, value improvement, and strategic solutions.
- Ability to travel 5-10%
