This is a hybrid position based in London, members of the engineering team are required to be in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Your mission
- Work in close collaboration with developers, product owners, technical teams and third-party suppliers to ensure effective, positive testing outcomes
- Complete investigations of system performance characteristics and automated system test fails
- Design, implement & maintain test suite automation
- Support and maintain tests, infrastructure and tools
- Provide leadership and technical expertise to our QA team
- Direct QA strategy, methodology, disciplines and frameworks
- Work closely with our engineering heads and product teams to develop and implement best practices in QA
- Allocate and plan QA resources appropriately to deliver against our ambitious roadmap
From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have
- Experience of working with Agile Methodologies e.g. Scrum, Kanban
- Strong communication skills with an open and collaborative approach
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively
- A high level of attention to detail
- Experience working closely with product owners and other stakeholders
- Motivation to deliver exceptional services to our customers
- Experience line managing QA engineers
- A track record of successfully testing web and app based products, as well as APIs
- Proven experience of shaping and implementing QA strategies
- Strong manual and automation technical background, ideally in an agile environment
- The ability to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality and pace of delivery
- Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Slack and Figma
It’s great, but not required, if you have
- Healthcare experience
- Performance test automation experience
