Where You Fit
We are searching for a highly motivated Procurement Lead to oversee our sourcing and procurement across all of PathAI, reporting to the Corporate Controller at the Diagnostics Division. The ideal candidate is someone who has expertise in a procurement function, both leading and hands-on, and is excited about being a part of a fast-paced and rapidly growing company shaping the category of AI-powered pathology.
What You’ll Do
- Design processes and execute the supplier contract negotiation process, proactively partnering with leadership and operations
- Ensure suppliers meet the required quality standard needs of the business
- Manage supplier order entry, order changes, and order fulfillment and ensure pricing and terms on supplier orders for compliance with contracts
- Establish, measure and report KPIs
- Develop and manage relationships with laboratory chemical, equipment, shipping and expendable suppliers and manage all supplier communication and inquiries from initial order through to fulfillment
- Drive savings opportunity identification, via combining various products onto a single order, pre-ordering as needed, volume discounts, etc
- Weekly inventory counts; assisting in monthly inventory reconciliations and inventory adjustment analysis and accurately forecast supply needs
- Address potential inventory obsolescence to minimize expired inventory and eventual write-offs
- Vendor scorecard/performance reviews
- Partner with various stakeholders to select, design and implement a new supply inventory management system
- Ad-hoc analyses as needed
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, accounting or logistics
- 5+ years relevant procurement or supply chain experience required
- Relevant diagnostics laboratory product knowledge is valued but not required
- Proven negotiation and contract skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong prioritization, planning and analytical skills
- Self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task in a dynamic business environment
- Must have positive internal customer service attitude and be a team player
- Experience with Netsuite Inventory Management a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
