The position of Associate Territory Manager (ATM) is a sales position that carries a quota and earns commissions. The ATM will be assigned specific accounts and primarily support the active physician and associated revenue growth of a specified Territory Manager through mentored patient interactions, case coverage and sales calls.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for generating and growing revenue in assigned set of accounts by promoting Nalu technology while providing excellent customer service and developing customer relationships
- Assist field team (sales and clinical) relative to the implantation and on-going clinical support of chronic pain patients identified for implantation with Nalu products in both the office and OR settings
- Provide effective educational presentations to customers (physician and patient) regarding the whole of Nalu products and programs at the direction of the AVP/TM
- Build strong clinical relationships with target customers and key opinion leaders
- Respond to physician requests and work in team environment to resolve issues in a prompt and effective manner
- Work with sales management to identify training needs for new and existing employees and customers
- Attending meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required, to promote our products and services
- Manage expenses and operate within stated company policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation and promote a professional personal and company image
- Ensure all inventory needed for a case is available.
- Provide detailed instruction on product use to staff during procedure to ensure superior patient outcomes.
- Submit all required paperwork to Customer Service upon completion of each case.
- Train advanced practitioners on the therapy.
- Work with Surgery Coordinator to ensure cases are scheduled in advance and efficient
- Identify referral sources in the community that have large populations of stenosis patients and the ability to readily refer to treating pain physicians
- Work w/skilled nursing facilities to have their patients seen by treating physicians.
Essential Qualifications (includes education, background, skills and expertise):
- The person in this role should possess the following experience, abilities and attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years successful medical device or OR experience preferably within the neuromodulation or interventional pain fields
- Demonstrated and documented success in previous roles; including successful development and management of physician and/or employee training, speaking or proctoring programs (desired)
- Prior experience working with pain patients (desired)
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- RN, bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience
- Ability to communicate and motivate effectively amongst multiple teams and team members
- Able and willing to meet the required travel of >75%
