Description
The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience of Boston College invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Neuroscience to begin July 1, 2023. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position, with a three-year contract and the possibility of regular renewal. The teaching load will be five courses per year (a 3-2 load).
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach courses in behavioral neuroscience, developmental neuroscience, or psychopathology, and to design a research practicum.
- There would also be the opportunity to develop courses that emphasize interdisciplinary connections (such as: neurogenetics; neuroeconomics; computational neuroscience or neuroinformatics; cultural neuroscience) or to teach courses for the Natural Sciences Core curriculum.
- A Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field is required by the time of appointment.
