About the role:
This role will provide white-glove desktop support to the Boston Scientific Executive Committee and assistants at the Maple Grove MN location. Standard shift hours will be 8am – 4:30 pm and occasional support earlier or later should it be required to facilitate service demand needs. This role is part of an on-call rotation for afterhours and weekend coverage. Occasional travel may be required.
Your responsibilities include:
- Provide ‘white glove’ support to executives in-person or remotely for issues related to laptops, desktop PCs, mobile devices,
- Support in-room or virtual video conference meetings by assisting organizers on meeting creation as well as support for connectivity or audio/video problems during meeting
- Provides guidance and technical expertise for VIPs related to system or software related purchases and provides ad-hoc user training and instruction on computer hardware and applications.
- Hardware disposition
- PC imaging
- Troubleshooting of MS Office 365 Tools in Enterprise Suite
- On-call rotation for afterhours and weekend coverage
- Collaborate with Techs across all US Deskside Teams
- Plans, tests, and partners in the roll-out of new applications, hardware, Operating Systems and infrastructure equipment.
- Performs hardware and software compatibility tests for monthly/quarterly security patching, application, and Operating System updates.
- Track work through IT Service Management System
- Track asset status / ownership through Asset Management System
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of customer facing IT experience
- Windows 10 migrations and use
- Mac experience/proficiency
- Extensive competency in use of Office 365 Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer, OneDrive, SharePoint in an Enterprise
- Troubleshooting issues with Exchange online and Exchange on premise
- Active Directory (equipment organization, lookups, password management)
- User Training on Windows 10, Office 365 Suite of Tools, A/V and V/C equipment
