Candidates with a background in chemistry, cell/redox biology, and Ph.D. in any of the following fields are invited to apply: lipidomics, metabolomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, systems biology, or computational biology. Current research interests of the CNI include the development and application of multiplex omics approaches and advanced data analysis tools that enable a mechanistic understanding of the pathophysiology of childhood neurological disease and the discovery of new diagnostic tools and therapies. The group has recent publications in Cell, Nature, Nature Chemical Biology, Nature Medicine, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Science Advances, Structure, JACS, Angewandte Chemie. Candidates will develop skills in mass spectrometry techniques, bioinformatics, and multi-omic platforms. Candidates will also gain experience in scientific writing and presenting their research in national and international meetings.
