Your role
🧠 Being our Electrical Engineer means being involved in the design and implementation of electronics, prototypes and products from inception to shipping. You will collaborate with the R&D and product team in order to bring the most elegant and efficient consumer product delivering digital therapeutics for neurological disorders.

- Design the electrical components of Clarity hardware products.
- Develop prototypes and iterate fast.
- Make the electronics of our products efficient, compact and light.

Who you are (skills & experience)
We would love to have you on our team if you,
- Are driven by solving health issues, especially neurological disorders.
- Are product and results-oriented. We look for someone who will keep the product on top of his/her mind and have the ability to execute the roadmap. You should be comfortable delivering weekly improvements.
- Have an analytical sense and critical thinking: you will need to learn and design different electronic systems and technologies. This requires framing the technical requirements, analyzing and evaluating a problem or issue, and iterating around the solution.
- Are flexible and learn fast: given the scope of work, you should be able to jump from one topic to another with a similar impact. You should be comfortable stepping outside your role to help team members and reach product milestones.
- High ability to execute and collaborate: given the scope, volume and timeline of work, you should be highly committed to delivering and putting heart into your work.
- Are patient and determined. With any Start-Up, patience and determination are key. We are determined to bring our solutions forward, however, we recognize that there will be setbacks. We seek an individual who can be patient and understanding when we face these obstacles and able to stay motivated to help us reach our goals.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- +5 years experience designing and shipping consumer electronic products.
- Fundamentals in software development and programming skills in languages like Python, Perl, TCL, Skill, Shell, etc.
- Experience with custom circuit design and advanced nodes and tape-outs.
- Experience with data acquisition systems like EEG, ECG, EMG.
- Experience with Virtual Reality electronic architecture.
- Experience in high-frequency VLSI SRAM, Register File, Array, or Digital Circuit Design.
- Experience in circuit design and interface definition, modeling and analysis, testing and design verification.
- Performing Schematics capture, PCB design & layout with Mentor Graphics or other PCB design software.
- Executing PCB design & PCB assembly verification, debugging, troubleshooting & repair.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with FDA specifications.
- Inter-discipline design experience.
- Understanding of Agile development processes.
- Open to receiving and providing feedback.
- Ability to work closely with other team members.
