Your Role

As a Software Engineer at Brainamics, you will take full ownership of our production pipeline, making sure that we have stable and reliable tools to keep our customers happy. Additionally, you’ll support our research team by contributing your knowledge of software development best practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the full production pipeline for emotion extraction and visualization, from data acquisition to deep learning inference to data visualization.
• Take part in strategic decision making about the whole software stack.
• Diagnose and remove obstacles that delay or stop our teams from building and improving our emotion extraction system.
• Evaluate, test, integrate, and manage systems and tools used in research and operations.
• Play a critical role in setting the direction and goals for a sizable team, in terms of project impact and system design.
• Create solutions that are portable from local machines to the fully cloud-based MLOps system.

Your Profile

• Graduated top of your class with a degree (or equivalent training) in Computer Science.
• Experience developing and deploying one or more of the following systems: machine learning training pipeline, pattern recognition, performance optimization.
• Full proficiency in Python.
• Experience with software engineering principles and tools: SOLID, CI/CD/CT, git.
• Great team player that collaborates with diverse colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds.
• Experience working with cloud services.
• Ideally, experience with cuda or HPC. Alternatively: API development experience.
