About the Role:

Inscopix, a discovery phase neurotechnology company, is expanding its Product Management team to support our company’s growth and carry out major objectives. To reach our company goals, our team is looking for a Product Manager to join us on this exciting journey and work on rolling out new features and products with our systems, platforms and software. As Inscopix Product Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, outline product requirements and enable the worldwide sales organization. Here’s more about what you’ll be doing:

  • Go to Market Planning
    • Define and maintain business plans, including market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, product definition and revenue projections, for innovative new products and applications
    • Assesses market needs and gaps, opportunities and trends, competitive landscape, and technology landscape for the neuroscience market
  • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Gather market intelligence, VOC (Voice of Customer), and work closely with development teams to implement learnings and define product requirements
    • Drive product introductions through a phase-gate Product Development Process and outline business deliverables, from product concept to EOL
    • Create product roadmaps and project plans that align with our current and future customer needs
  • Product Launch and Commercial Excellence
    • Develop launch strategies and implement launch plans for new products in the portfolio, including development of key messaging and positioning
    • Work in partnership with the outbound marketing team to outline demand generation strategies to maximize adoption by target market segments
    • Conduct sales trainings and be the product champion for the commercial organization
  • Customer and Product Champion
    • Lead cross-functional projects to develop and launch successful products, including development, program management, manufacturing, support and finance
    • Create and foster a strong team spirit and serve as product champion within the commercial organization, and with customers
    • Develop relationships with key customers and partners to advocate during product development and product tradeoff discussions. ensure success and adoption of Inscopix platforms and solutions.

 

Skills we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or life sciences is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of successful product management experience developing products for external products is required. This experience must include complex systems – i.e enterprise software, instrument products, and/or hardware vs. a mobile app. We’re hiring in Product Management at all levels, so please apply if you are a Sr. PM or slightly less experienced).
  • Experience in neuroscience, life sciences is preferred but not required.
  • Proven record of launching and sustaining products
  • Strong technical knowledge of products and applications with the ability to gain new knowledge quickly
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences
  • This role is currently based in Palo Alto. Since this role works closely with the Engineering team onsite in Palo Alto, the person in this role should be expected to be on site 2 times a week on average.
  • Available for up to 25% business travel
