About the Role:
The Operations team at Inscopix is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer Intern to support sustaining and development of an AWS-based database for organizing, analyzing, visualizing, and sharing product data and information. This is a great opportunity for someone to collaborate alongside manufacturing engineers and develop their engineering skills. and the production team who create all products developed by Inscopix. You will also be collaborating with the engineering team to develop new products’ test environments and device tracking. We are looking for someone who works well on a small team, is passionate about building effective and elegant products, and would relish an opportunity to directly enable and empower high throughput of the operations team.
What you will be doing:
- Your exact role will be determined by your existing experience as well as areas you identify as wanting to learn/grow into. Here are some examples of responsibilities you may be asked to take on:
- Contribute to the maintenance of current AWS-based database
- Contribute to development of new features and improvements of the AWS-based database
- Participate in anaconda3-based test environment design, improvement, and maintenance of current released products, and products in engineering development
- Improve data collection and analysis efficiency
- Create automated scripts and development workflows to enable proper testing of various products.

- SQLite Database visualizers
- ThorLabs equipment and software/firmware
- Anaconda3
- Visual Studio Code
What we’re looking for:
- Proficient with Python, Javascript, HTML, and SQLite
- Experience working with Apache servers emulating web applications, specifically Django emulation.
- Experience with model, view, controller systems of database management and interaction
- Experience with CRUD actions of databases
- Experience with version control within GitHub
- Experience with python environments using third party APIs
