Job Description:

The Chakrabarty lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow in ADRD neuropathology and inflammation. The lab is located at the Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases at the Gainesville campus of the University of Florida. This project involves investigating the effects of inflammatory signaling in mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The candidate should have a PhD in Neuroscience or related subject. Candidates with experience in mouse handling and surgery are particularly encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge in cell culture and molecular biology is necessary. Experience in protein biology (protein purification, in vitro protein assays) will be beneficial. Experience in handling large datasets using R will be considered as additional expertise but not required. Expected Salary:                    Commensurate with experience

Minimum Requirements:  PhD in Neuroscience or related field
