Job Description

MindMaze is looking for a driven Finance Intern in Lausanne, Switzerland with a strong understanding of financial terms and concepts who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. As our new Finance Intern, you will support our Financial Planning & Analysis, Investors Relations, M&A and Accounting functions.

Internship duration: 3 months minimum.

 

You will:

  • Become an impactful member of the Finance department and support the team on all finance related topics such as FP&A, Investor Relations, Accounting and M&A
  • Learn how to work as part of the Finance team to research and analyze data, prepare financial reports and presentations, and support the senior members of the team including MindMaze’s CFO
  • Identify and track potential M&A targets and support the team during the execution of transactions
  • Get involved in the company’s investor reporting and financial planning process
  • Research industries and companies and present your results to a variety of audiences
  • Help maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and integrity

 

Qualifications

Skills that we look out for are:

  • You have ideally completed or are currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Management, Banking or Finance
  • Ability to prepare and communicate financial information with impact to a wide variety of audiences
  • Very strong organizational skills to cope with multitasking and to remain on top of things at all times. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • High degree of flexibility to embrace specific internal challenges and to respond to changes
  • Aptitude for math and financial concepts, proficiency with computers – especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong team-player with high degree of self-motivation 
  • Previous internship or related experience in finance, accounting, banking or management consulting is a plus but not mandatory
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
