The Role:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing Professional Services team, working across multiple clients and managing end-to-end projects. In this role you will ensure that the projects we undertake are delivered as efficiently as possible, by defining and maintaining a clear plan (and organising the chaos, at times), enforcing and encouraging teamwork and fostering engagement with the customer. Our project management approach is an Agile one that is supported by some typical Prince 2 type practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Provides Work Breakdown Schedule estimations on the project Statement of Work for PMO work items
- Reports project status to the project board
- Raises, documents & manages issues & risks effectively
- Ensures project decisions & actions are captured within all project meetings & circulates them to meeting members
- Follows up on progress of Actions, Risks & Issues on behalf of the project team
- Identifies key meetings required by the team & facilitates coordination to ensure they occur (aligned to Agile methodology)
- Allocates & facilitates the onboarding of team members to the project
- Collects Lessons Learned from Retrospectives of prior projects of similar nature & from the same client to share with the Project Management Team
- Monitors project budget, timelines & deliverables, takes corrective action when a project runs off plan & communicates this to the customer through Risk/Issues Notification & Status Reporting
- Engages in stakeholder management to ensure Customer remains satisfied & expectations are managed throughout the project
- Ensures Work planned & completed by the project team is within the scope of the Project Contract and where outside of scope seeks a variation.
- Ensures the project has the right people to complete the work in scope
- Conducts Business Analyst activities if there is not Business Analyst on the project

Expected Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years proven experience in Project Management (Program & Portfolio highly desirable)
- 1 or more Project or Business qualifications (AGILE, PRINCE2, PmBok or others)
- 5+ years of experience working with senior business stakeholders within a cross-functional environment
- Strong understanding of AGILE Software Development & SDLC
- Experience working in a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Proficient in use of Atlassian tools (JIRA and Confluence)
- Excellent planning, time management and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills & problem solving capabilities
