Title:  IP Researcher/Patent Analyst

Joy Ventures, a research, venture creation, and investment firm focused on brain and health technology, is seeking an IP researcher/patent analyst to support research, development, and investment activities

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in biology, engineering, or similar field
• Neuroscience or cognitive science experience an advantage
• Strong research and evaluation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently
• Prior experience in patents search and analysis – an advantage

Key Activities:

• Carrying out IP and patent research in public and proprietary databases and open-source repositories
• Review and technical analysis of patents in domains related to Joy interests
• Generation of reports describing state of the art, innovation opportunities and projections of future directions

Location: Herzliya and Remote, Israel

Level of Effort: 50-100% time
