The Role:
As Chief Marketing Officer, you will play an integral role in setting the vision and strategic direction of the marketing organization and building the dominant brand in mental health. As an executive at Cerebral, you will oversee Brand, Communications/Public Relations, DTC growth, and B2B2C marketing. The ideal candidate will be a proven, results-oriented and strategic leader. S/he will have a successful track record of building and scaling a marketing team of “A” players across brand, communications, consumer and B2B2C marketing.
This position reports to Cerebral’s President.
Who you are
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with some experience within a high-growth organization
- Deep understanding of both DTC and B2B2C markets and effective marketing and communications strategies for both
- Exposure to all facets of marketing, including brand, PR/communications, performance marketing, product marketing, and B2B2C marketing.
- Leadership experience building, managing, and nurturing teams
- Expertise working cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Experience successfully running internal and external communications campaigns with quantifiable results
- Deep expertise in utilizing data for both reporting and interpreting insights to make key decisions
- Excellent communicator, confirming key messages cascade across the organization to all levels
- Able to set priorities while remaining flexible in an ever-changing environment
- Holds an undergraduate degree; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- Aligns and lives the company culture and values
How your skills and passion will come to life at Cerebral:
- Set and execute a strategic vision for both marketing and communications functions working in close consultation with our President and CEO.
- Relentless focus on Voice of the Customer (DTC and B2B2C) through continuous monitoring and evaluation of competitive and industry trends to deliver on annual marketing targets.
- Lead Brand, PR, and Internal communications talent to ensure a consistent voice, market presence, and positive brand image.
- Hire, develop, train, and mentor exceptional talent and hold the team responsible for executing on their goals with clear accountability measures and best practices.
- Liaise between Product, Commercial, and Operations as a voice of market feedback to tailor enterprise products accordingly
- Build and maintain a spirit of shared mission, purpose, and culture throughout the marketing and communications teams and through the entire organization
- Contribute to overall pipeline and revenue growth of the company with existing and new business
- Establish, track and measure OKRs and budgets for marketing and communication departments in partnership with the overall growth strategy
