Your mission

• Design and build applications for the Android platform
• Play an active role in our results-oriented Agile team
• Experiment with new tools and technologies to produce cutting-edge solutions to business problems
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with your team to define, design and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality and encourage best development practices

From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have

• 5+ years’ relevant experience on Android platform
• Extensive Android development experience (Android SDK, Android Studio, Kotlin)
• An excellent understanding of Android UX/UI guidelines/best practices and the ability to engage with the creative team to deliver pragmatic solutions, balancing design, quality and velocity
• An excellent understanding of Android app architecture and use of design patterns
• Experience working in Agile methodologies e.g. Scrum, KanbanFlair for clean code, reusability, testability and readability (SOLID, TDD)
• Strong OO & problem solving skills with an appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in code
• Excellent communication skills

It’s great, but not required, if you have

• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline
