Job Description

  • Lead and form medical strategies for AD in China.
  • Contribute to the implementation of AD product launch plan to support and ensure a successful launch in China
  • Identify top KMEs, and facilitate medical and scientific information exchange with the medical community on AD.
  • Generate systematically collected medical insights and provide key learnings to the regional Medical team on regular basis as appropriate.
  • Provide input to the local affiliate AD Brand strategy from medical perspective
  • Work with Experts to develop clinical therapeutic concepts that support the advancement of the medical science within Biogen´s scientific and therapeutic area of interest
  • Support the development and implementation of the internal training plan, monitor the plan and update knowledge of AD
  • Organize educational meetings with multidisciplinary participation of key stakeholders in designated area and provide key learnings to the wider medical team and internal stakeholders.
  • Support therapeutic experts in developing concepts and protocols for SRAs / IITs / registries to advance the understanding of clinical value of AD therapies
  • Work with local patient organizations in collaboration with Corporate Affairs to educate about the disease area and advances in patient care.
  • Develops reports /summary slide decks of important national congresses.
  • Lead the design and management of Digital Education Platforms and use Digital Tools to enhance external engagement
  • Supports cross functional team’s effort related to presenting clarity around clinical and scientific information supporting therapeutic decisions in patient care.
  • Provision of medical information including responses to unsolicited off-label questions and questions regarding new indications and future development products.
  • Support appropriate screening processes to identify potential investigators for Biogen initiated clinical trials, collaborate with clinical trial groups to evaluate requests and assess center capacity for clinical studies.
  • 100% in line with Biogen China and global compliance policies

 

Qualifications

  • Medical or scientific qualification (M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D. preferred)
  • Educational background or working experinece in Neurology is highly preferred. 
  • Nice to have experinece in Medical Advisor. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good team player, fits in the environment with international, diverse, team work culture
  • Strong customer orientation, science based
  • Proficiency in English’ speaking/reading/listensing/writing.
