The Role:
The purpose of the Test Lead role is to establish and run an independent and dedicated QA function for Max Kelsen’s Products, Managed Services and Consulting projects. In this role you will be responsible for overall test strategy and the implementation and execution of end-to-end tests. You will work alongside our software engineers who are responsible for writing their own unit tests.
What You’ll Do:
- Defining end-to-end software testing strategies
- Defining acceptance/functional, non-functional, regression, integration and smoke test plans
- Implementing automated Integration and end-to-end tests
- Ensuring the right test case management and orchestration tooling is in place
- Reporting on software quality metrics across the organisation
Expected Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience leading a Software QA function in a Test Lead position
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and TDD and BDD approaches
- Comfortable understanding JavaScript, TypeScript and/or Python
- Experience with relevant test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Mocha, or Selenium
- QA qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Strong planning and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop quality software products
- Great understanding of Agile Software Development
