Job Description

MindMaze is looking for a driven Finance Analyst with a strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts to strengthen our growing Finance team in Lausanne, Switzerland. As our new Finance Analyst, you will work closely together with MindMaze’s CFO and the senior Finance team on all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis, Investors Relations, Capital Raising, M&A Reporting and Accounting.

You will:

  • Become an impactful member of the Finance department and work with the team on all finance related topics such as FP&A, Investor Relations, Reporting, Accounting and M&A
  • Research and analyze data, prepare financial reports and presentations, and support the senior members of the team including MindMaze’s CFO
  • Identify and track potential M&A targets and support the team during the execution of transactions
  • Get involved in the company’s investor reporting and financial planning processes
  • Research industries and companies and present your results to a variety of audiences
  • Help maintain accurate and complete financial records and support the annual and quarterly reporting processes
  • Be the primary owner of presentations for annual and quarterly forecast and reporting cycles
  • Liaise with other departments and facilitate the reporting and review of worldwide financial plans and analysis of financial projections utilized for Senior Management decisions
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as required under tight deadlines
  • Develop new financial models to forecast financial performance and understand potential deviations
  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and integrity

 

Qualifications

Skills that we look out for are:

  • You have completed a Bachelor or Master’s degree with excellent results in one of the following fields: Economics, Management, Accounting, Banking or Finance
  • Between 2-5 years experience in either Big 4, strategy consulting, investment banking or in a similar role at a corporate organization
  • Ability to prepare and communicate financial information with impact to a wide variety of audiences
  • Very strong organizational skills to cope with multitasking and to remain on top of things at all times.  Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is key
  • High degree of flexibility to embrace specific internal challenges and to respond to changes
  • Aptitude for math and financial concepts, proficiency with computers – especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong team-player with high degree of self-motivation
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
