Neuralink is looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead the Talent team in hiring the world’s most talented engineers, scientists, and operations experts. As the Recruiting Manager, you will spearhead the company’s hiring strategy. You will be responsible for continuous improvements to the recruitment process and leading your team of Recruiters in filling open headcount with top 1% talent.
The Recruiting Manager will maintain relationships with operational teams, candidates, and recruiting firms. Your ability to deeply understand the company’s operational needs as well as its overall strategy will help you find the best talent to support the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the recruiting team.
- Provide career progression guidance for individual team members.
- Continuously design and improve the hiring process.
- Train and support new hiring managers in the end-to-end hiring process including interview design and sourcing strategy.
- Design compensation offers (salary + equity).
- Manage recruitment-vendor relationships and contracts.
- Monitor hiring process and report on interview progress using Greenhouse analytics.
- Source candidates through all necessary channels and build up a talent pool.
- Responsible for maintaining best-in-class candidate experience and compliance.
- Manage and update current employee referral program to include employee training on best practices and approach.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Recruiting Lead or Recruiting Manager at a hyper-growth startup.
- Ability and thirst to understand the company’s market, product, technology, and operational needs.
- Demonstrated success in talent mapping.
- Ability to engage and develop relationships with professional organizations, educational institutions, and high-level stakeholders in general.
- Knowledge of US Labor Laws and hiring practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Fremont, CA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a start-up environment that’s scaled from 100’s to 1,000’s.
- Experience recruiting at the intersection of software and hardware.
- Experience working with Greenhouse.
- Experience in recruitment branding.
