The Child Mind Institute seeks a results-driven Clinical Marketing Manager to accelerate the growth of the Child Mind Institute’s clinical practices in New York City and San Mateo, CA. The ideal candidate is a smart, well-organized team player who can think flexibly and strategically about generating referrals. With an entrepreneurial spirit, this performance-marketing position is responsible for building a growth plan and leveraging internal and external resources to execute.

The Clinical Marketing Manager will design the marketing plan to grow clinical awareness, brand reputation, and appointment/ telehealth bookings in consultation with Clinical Leadership, the Chief Administrative Officer, and Marketing/Communications Leadership. The Clinical Marketing Manager supervises a team of two Clinical Marketing Specialists to help put the plan into action through communication with local referral sources including schools and doctors’ offices. The Clinical Marketing Manager guides and produces content necessary to fulfill the marketing plan, including email marketing and the creation of presentations and video assets. Other activities are likely to include management of social media, event coordination, and possible paid digital/ social media. The position also contributes to Child Mind Institute development activities from a clinical perspective. This is a hybrid planner-manager-doer role.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, this is an exempt, full-time, hybrid position split between remote work and our Midtown, NYC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a marketing plan for the Child Mind Institute’s NYC and SFBA-area clinical centers.
  • Manage a team of two Clinical Marketing Specialists located in New York and San Mateo.
  • Track and report of KPIs as indicated in the plan.
  • Grow/manage email list and create ongoing strategic campaigns to key sub-groups within the list.
  • Help manage the referral database and improve the quality of our lists and marketing intelligence.
  • Execute projects through a nimble combination of Marketing/Communications Team and outside resources.
  • Develop and help write a wide range of content (digital, video, collateral) to move parents from awareness to bookings.
  • Inspire and support individual clinicians in their outreach and network development

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, or related field. 
  • 7-10 years’ experience in marketing with demonstrated success in planning and conversion.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.  
  • A strong writer comfortable creating and/ or editing promotional copy, marketing presentations, event descriptions, and collateral.
  • Experience running e-mail marketing campaigns to drive engagement.
  • Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce. 
  • Medical practice marketing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with video and digital content production a plus.
  • Ability to work at events that may occasionally occur on evenings and weekends.
  • Strong relationship builder who inspires teamwork and collaboration (team player).
  • Proactive approach in work ethic and communication.
