Essential Job Functions:
FY2023 FACULTY RECRUITMENT for NEUROSCIENCE & CELL BIOLOGY at the rank of Professor, Tenure Track. This is a position to be recruited from the commitment package of Dr. Jin Mo Chung under FWM# 2022 -047.
- You are expected to perform scientific research in your field and publish the results.
- Maintain an extramural funded independent research program
- Participate in teaching of medical and graduate education and training investigators in the areas of neuroscience and neurological diseases
- Partner with established biomedical researchers in a highly collaborative biomedical research community to foster mutual scientific goals
- Build translational research programs·Participate in committees which serve the Department, and the University
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD, PhD, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of neuroscience.
- Extensive experience in innovative approaches for the study of biomedical problems at a functional/molecular level is needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate within a team of researchers in a translational and basic science research research setting
- Record of scientific accomplishment with consistent high level productivity of peer reviewed publications
- Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
