Professor – Neuroscience, Cell Biology & Anatomy – (2203283)

Essential Job Functions:

FY2023 FACULTY RECRUITMENT for NEUROSCIENCE & CELL BIOLOGY at the rank of Professor, Tenure Track. This is a position to be recruited from the commitment package of Dr. Jin Mo Chung under FWM# 2022 -047.

• You are expected to perform scientific research in your field and publish the results. 
• Maintain an extramural funded independent research program
• Participate in teaching of medical and graduate education and training investigators in the areas of neuroscience and neurological diseases
• Partner with established biomedical researchers in a highly collaborative biomedical research community to foster mutual scientific goals
• Build translational research programs·Participate in committees which serve the Department, and the University

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD, PhD, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of neuroscience.
• Extensive experience in innovative approaches for the study of biomedical problems at a functional/molecular level is needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to collaborate within a team of researchers in a translational and basic science research research setting
• Record of scientific accomplishment with consistent high level productivity of peer reviewed publications
• Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken

Salary:

Commensurate with experience.
