Salary Range: $68,884.02 To 77,494.53 Annually

 

Summary

The Information Strategy & Business Analysis department focuses on the Management and Implementation of information technology, Business Intelligence, Knowledge management, and Business process excellence to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, communication, and general project management of operational systems, with focus on digital / web-based and financial projects across the organization.

 

Essential Job Functions include the following.   Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages technology and process improvement projects and assists Senior Project Manager and Director with the division portfolio. 
  • Creates and executes project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manages stakeholder, management, and vendor expectations through effective communication and reporting.
  • Coordinates internal and external resources according to project plan and budget.
  • Oversees project budget in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and Director.
  • Develops functional specifications and requirements.
  • Works closely with Technology Services to translate stakeholder requirements into business cases. 
  • Manages procurement needs and requests for proposal process development.
  • Manages project meeting logistics and agendas, and facilitates group discussions.
  • Documents key decisions and procedures and communicates this information to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Creates test plans and manages their execution with testers.
  • Supervises and prioritizes any post-launch adjustments as necessary.
  • Transitions completed project to support/maintenance environment, including securing training for staff on new systems.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

 

Minimum Requirements And Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant project management experience required preferably at a professional not-for-profit.
  • Demonstrated project management experience spanning multiple teams/business units required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects involving different teams and content areas.
  • Flexibility to determine the best approach for managing different projects and stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail essential.
  • Collaborative style and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues. 
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to maintain a professional environment while managing difficult situations.
  • Proved ability to take full ownership of projects.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects involving different teams and content areas.
  • Flexibility to determine the best approach for managing different projects and stakeholder needs.
  • Proficient in excel. 
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, and other Office 365 tools.

  • MX Dynamics
  • Great Plains GP 
  • Office365 

 

Language Ability: 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.  

 

Math Ability: 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs. 

 

Reasoning Ability:                                                               

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills: 

  • To perform this job successfully, the incumbent should have proficiency in business software like MS Office;
  • Knowledge of MS Project and SharePoint strongly preferred;
  • Good understanding of web, data analysis tools, and database technologies preferred;
  • Previous experience with association management systems, social networking software, and content management systems preferred.
