The following challenges await you:

• Lead Production to deliver exceptional quality, delivery and financial performance.  This includes responsibility for leading all production processes and shop floor quality inspection.
• Oversee the production process and coordinate all activities to ensure adequate resources (labor and consumables) to efficiently execute the production plan and sustain production output for the site.
• Continually improve operational performance (quality, delivery, flexibility, costs).
• Install Lean Culture and implement lean initiatives.  Promote HPS development path and educate operators on lean concepts and tools.
• Assist in the development and testing of new products to define processes, workflow, lean set-up, and standard operating procedures.
• A customer centric mindset by partnering with the leaders across functional lines to ensure safety, quality, and maintenance systems are integrated within operations.
• Assure procedures and controls are in place to promote communication and optimal information flow within the organization.
• Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.  
• Ensure production reporting is available to site and management team to allow effective and timely decision making in the best interest of the business.
• Participates and/or assists with cross training activities, training of new hires and temporary staff.

Your Profile:

• 4-year Technical/Engineering College Degree or minimum 5 years operational experience in a related field or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated successful operational experience with floor manufacturing facilities, including: manufacturing experience, personnel management, and scheduling experience, OSHA safety standards
