The primary responsibilities of this position are to ensure future products and prototypes properly complete development and are systematically launched into a standard production. The Launch Manager will pick up late-stage physical prototypes, provide critical input to help finalize the new product, and then bring them to life for customers by developing a strategy and coordinating its execution across Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Design.

The following challenges await you:

• Ensure a product or service is successfully released to production
• Own, contribute and add to the standard Launch Process to ensure a successful release of developed solutions to production.
• Maintain a detailed launch plan and coordinate execution across teams to deliver launches on time (with a willingness to get hands dirty when necessary)
• Oversee all processes and functions leading up to a product or service launch
• Conduct review meetings, assign tasks to relevant functions, and follow up on task completion
• Align launch process and deliverables with customer product qualification and release plans
• Develop KPIs and relevant metrics to identify potential issues and measure success, setting up new processes and systems from scratch when relevant
• Review financial models (e.g. unit economics, forecasts), risks, R&D trails and results for new products
• Advocate for all stakeholders throughout the release cycle to ensure they have the support needed to succeed. A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field forms the basis of the qualifications.
• Identify development gaps and communicate to continually improve product’s or service’s future operational performance (quality, delivery, flexibility, costs).

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramics Engineering, Product Management, Science or Technology or similar from an accredited college/university.
• 7 years or more of experience in producing industry.
• Demonstrated consistent growth in leadership or project management roles ideally in global organization within a subsidiary or plant.
• Experience within a multi-product, start-up, fact paced, technical manufacturing environment required.
