Director of Product Management, Wearable Experiences

Neurable is seeking an experienced product professional with a focus on software products for wearable devices. You will help Neurable design and develop consumer product experiences for an innovative new Bluetooth headphone product that tracks focus to improve work productivity and reduce burnout. You will be responsible for defining and executing iOS and Android applications to launch in 2023.

What You Will Do and Learn:

• Manage roadmaps and documentation for consumer-facing features and experiences. As the software product lead, you will own Neurable’s software product vision, starting with hypotheses to test with users. 
• Select and manage agencies for UX design and app development. Together with the VP of Product, you will identify, select, and manage external resources to support UX design and app development.
• Manage user testing to validate hypotheses. You will manage the user testing process, with support from internal resources and external agencies to identify features and build new features and other improvements to include in Neurable’s app.
• Document mobile app and cloud API requirements and set engineering backlogs. You will create documentation to communicate requirements for the front-end mobile app and cloud experiences, including features, app onboarding, app experiences, user account management, and data security.
• Work closely with Neurable’s engineering team to develop world-class experiences. Neurable’s engineers and scientists have built a groundbreaking sensor system with signal processing, API algorithms, and front-end experiences. You will work closely with this impressive team to build Neurable’s consumer product experiences.
• Collaborate with partners to enhance Neurable product capabilities. Neurable partners will corporations and labs to refine product experiences, build new capabilities, and collect data for R&D. You will work with Neurable’s head of business development to enable experiences needed to realize the benefits of Neurable’s partnerships.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 4-7 years of professional experience shipping software products and features for consumer hardware products
• Experience developing wearable electronics that transmits data to a mobile app and to the cloud
• Expertise in wearable product architecture and design
• Proficiency collecting user feedback and iterating designs to maximize customer benefit
• Deep knowledge of user testing and UX design
• Practice designing and performing product demos that “wow”
• A track record of working on highly technical products in collaboration with engineers and scientists
• Experience with OKRs or other KPI frameworks
• Comfort in a small organization where roles and responsibilities are flexible according to needs of the organization
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, human factors, design, or a similar field
