The Account Manager (Sales Representative) is responsible for driving Barostim sales in his/ her territory by addressing three different customer segments with individual strategies and action plans. He/ she resides in Germany and reports to the VP Sales & Marketing Europe.
Key Duties:
- Sell Barostim™ to existing clinical customers with a focus on the Heart team.
- Market and conduct analysis for new customer acquisition and further expansion of therapy in German clinics.
- Develop and further establishment of referral structures, as well as close networking with existing customers.
- Develop customer-specific sales strategy in line with requirements.
- Manage Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in own sales region.
- Proctor and accompany procedures in the operating room.
- Provide content-related and professional advice to customers, including on technical issues.
- Implement trainings as well as advanced training.
- Actively participate in trade fairs and congresses.
- Drive important projects with key stakeholders, as needed.
- Solve reimbursement questions and challenges.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 3 years experience in sales, preferably in the establishment of novel therapies in the environment of cardiology / cardiac surgery.
- Your sales success can be concretely demonstrated and you have a good knowledge of heart failure or hypertension.
- You have a pioneering spirit and are exceptionally customer and service oriented.
- Native German speaker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, including strong written and verbal communication skills in the language.
- You enjoy working on a growing team in an organization with a flat hierarchy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape, ideally in cardiovascular markets (specifically in heart failure and/or hypertension) and/ or medical devices.
- Proficient in Salesforce.com.
- Thrives in an early-stage company environment.
- Experience with launching and developing new therapies and driving them toward standard of care status.
- Demonstrated success in the commercialization of medical devices.
Working Conditions:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel up to 60%.
