You will be joining a team of high-performing marketers to rapidly grow the DBS market and bring our innovation to more patients who could benefit from DBS therapy.
The Senior Market Development Program Manager will focus on driving market growth activities within our Brain Modulation business. This highly versatile role will be responsible for developing and implementing program strategies for both patients and healthcare providers to drive awareness, adoption and utilization of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy for movement disorders, epilepsy and other indications.
Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of market development strategies to impact a complex market landscape and the referral dynamics between implanters, community providers and patients. This position will manage a broad range of activities including direct-to-patient campaigns, digital marketing, webinars, patient ambassador program, patient advocacy group partnerships, medical conferences and HCP education programs, field team initiatives and marketing material development. This role requires someone who can think strategically, and act tactically.
The Brain Modulation business is based in Minneapolis, MN. This role is open to remote within the United States, for well qualified candidates.
A Day in the Life
- Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term market development programs for both clinician providers and direct-to-patients that impact therapy adoption and market growth
- Conduct research and market analyses to understand patient and referral pathways, and identify program opportunities and messaging needs
- Understand and translate complex clinical, product and technical information to relevant concepts and language for different audiences, including the field team, patients and clinicians
- Develop content and presentations to effectively communicate and inform material development for patients and clinicians
- Provide support, training, and communications to the field team to align and mobilize on market growth initiatives and pull through
- Communicate and interact effectively with clinician customers and patients to support programs
- Develop program plans and presentations to be able to align with leadership, support team members, and other key stakeholders for coordinated and successful execution
- Manage programs and provide direction to cross-functional partners and vendors to meet program objectives, deliverables, deadlines, and budget
- Collaborate with regulatory and compliance to meet business needs and growth targets within our quality and legal requirements.
- Identify, track and report on program metrics to determine program impact and opportunities for improvement
- Manage patient support and advocacy group partnerships to support therapy advancement goals
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns with target audiences
- Support administrative, compliance, quality, and training requirements as needed
- Travel approximately 25%-30%
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a marketing or sales role, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a marketing or sales role

- Direct experience in developing and executing market development or therapy awareness programs, with specific success in direct-to-consumer or patient marketing campaigns
- Experience marketing directly to consumers or patients
- Working knowledge of omnichannel and digital marketing
- Experience working across functional teams
- Ability to work directly with a field sales team and clinician customers
- Excellent planning, project management and analytical skills
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, challenging, dynamic marketplace
- Solution-oriented and resourceful with sometimes limited information and resources
- Solid verbal, written and presentation skills
