A Day in the Life
Responsible for managing, planning and overseeing Engineering projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget, focus on on-market products.
Champions manufacturability of projects, responsible for the formalization of manufacturing documentation, coordinating project schedules between R&D and functional teams in Operation (e.g., Supply Chain, Production, QA, Mfg. Engineering)
Accountable to plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a Medtronic goals and vision.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan and implement cross-functional projects and engineering changes with focus on changes in on-market products, including scope, goals, timeline, resources and deliverables
- Collect and manage cross-functional matrix project team
- Support of Post-Market R&D team in planning and implementation of Engineering tasks related to product change
- Present to stakeholders and management reports on progress as well as challenges and mitigations
- Manage engineering change processes – CDP, ECO
- Responsible for operations related activities and tasks within the project. Part of it, responsible on managing Operations project Gantt and timeline, task definition and synchronization between different matrix teams and functions. Application of risk management methodologies such as DFMEA and PFMEA to identify actions that can be taken to eliminate or reduce the potential causes leading to failures.
- Application of risk-based approach to identify actions that can be taken to eliminate or reduce the potential causes leading to failures.
- Adhere to SOP’s and have the ability to prepare written policies, procedures, proposals, and reports in accordance with cGMP/FDA/ISO-13483 guidelines and regulations.

Must Have:
- S. in Engineering field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including management of engineering projects, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Leadership in matrix, decision-making in dynamic environment
- Time management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Project Management of manufacturing process from concept to implementation
- Ability to strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
- Budgeting skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent decision-making
- Conflict resolution experience
- Knowledgeable in medical device regulation
- Fluent English and Hebrew, both written and verbal
- Effective communication and presentation skills with superiors and peers
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in medical device industry
- Formal certification in project management domain – a strong advantage
