The Opportunity  

We are looking for a mid-level Accountant with outstanding attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset to join our growing team in developing life-changing medical devices.  

In this role, you will report to our Director of Finance and your primary responsibilities will include leading our company’s General Ledger, intercompany billing and reconciliations, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reconciliations, accruals, and general journal entries.

This is a full-time, salaried position starting immediately in our Salt Lake City office with occasional work from home flexibility. 

 

Key Qualifications 

  • MBA, or Masters of Accounting degree, or Bachelors of Accounting and 5-7 years’ experience performing core GAAP accounting on a small business accounting team.
  • 2+ years’ experience performing cost/manufacturing accounting.
  • 2+ years’ experience performing quarterly and annual tax return filings and reconciliations.
  • 1+ years’ experience performing intercompany billing.
  • Intermediate proficiency in QuickBooks and at least 2 years’ hands-on experience using QuickBooks.
  • Excel experience using advanced formulas, formatting, chart/table creations, etc.

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Payment app and merchant services systems experience (e.g. Expensify, Bill.com, Receipt.com).
  • Regulated industry experience (e.g. medical, military, aerospace)
