The Opportunity
We are looking for an Office Manager and Administrative Assistant (Part-time) with incredible attention to detail, a knack for organization, and excellent problem-solving skills to join our growing team in developing life-changing medical devices.
In this role, you will report to our HR Manager. This is a part-time (~25 hours per week), hourly role and will be based in our Sugarhouse, Salt Lake office.
Responsibilities
- Create an office environment that is welcoming, organized, clean, well-stocked, fun, and conducive to productivity.
- Be the direct line to our office – answer phones, greet guests, maintain building security, and compose and respond to internal and external correspondence.
- Ensure our teams have everything they need to be successful by providing supplies and managing equipment. This includes purchasing, stocking, organizing, and replenishing supplies on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with HR team on organization and logistics of employee events and activities.
- Select and maintain vendor relationships for office and manufacturing site support, acting as liaison onsite (janitorial, internet provider, building, security, IT, special projects, etc).
- Prepare for clients, interviewees, and other visitors onsite; scheduling, conference room prep, food & beverage ordering, tours, etc.
- Assist HR team with onboarding and offboarding activities, as well as other HR-related activities such as celebrations, office lunches, and company communciations (e.g. newsletters).
- Travel & expense management.
- Help influence a positive company culture.
Key Qualifications
- 2+ years experience being an administrative assistant and/or office manager. Experience should include:
- Appointment, meeting, and travel coordination
- Office supply and equipment management
- Event planning
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- An eye and mind for details and organization, and a desire to be a part of a team that has a real impact on the world!
