Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing all aspects of general day-to-day accounting matters for the company as related to revenue posting and reporting.

General Description and Duties:

• Prepares and records revenue entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Responsible for day to day operations of the accounting function including revenue posting and reporting, etc.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing reports as related to revenue.
• Assists with external audit by providing information for auditors as requested.
• Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.

• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Position Qualifications

• Prior experience in Accounting or Finance function
• Knowledge of Accounting, GAAP, Research Skills, Analyzing Information, Attention to Detail, Deadline Oriented, Confidentiality, Corporate Finance, Financial Software (QAD), General Math Skills
• Previous experience in medical device company preferred
• Excellent communicative abilities (both written and verbal)
• Well organized and systematic filing methodologies

Minimum Education:

• BS/BA in business or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience:

• At least 2 years of accounting experience
