Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN is searching for a Sr. EH&S Specialist to join their team. As a Sr. EH&S Specialist at Boston Scientific you will be responsible for driving activities that improve employee safety and reduce the site’s impact on the environment. This is a hybrid position.

Key Responsibilities

• Be challenged and supported to gain competency/experience in EH&S programs both familiar and new. 
• Advocate for EH&S as a core value of Boston Scientific and represent EH&S Team as an EH&S professional.
• Have an active presence and positive impact in manufacturing, process development, research, and laboratory environments.
• Work independently to lead and develop, implement, improve, and maintain a variety of site EH&S programs.
• Lead initiatives such as inspections, assessments, and reviews, to ensure site compliance with EH&S programs.
• Participate in regulatory reviews and reporting and serve as liaison with regulatory agencies.
• Provide regulatory guidance and EH&S recommendations for process, equipment, and facility infrastructure design.
• Identify and drive completion of business system opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead and manage incident investigation and after-action reviews to completion with a focus on root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive action.
• Learn and participate in the site’s ISO certifications/programs.

What We’re Looking For In You

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, or a related area
• 5+ years of EH&S experience; 3+ years with Master’s degree
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Environmental Permitting and completing job hazard analyses
• Ergonomic risk reduction experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or office setting
• Experience in completing risk assessments and taking action to reduce workplace risk
