Job Description

As a Software Engineer in Test you will contribute and influence MindMaze’s product quality by continuously defining and improving the testing of prototypes and pre-release versions of our products and services. We aim to consistently deliver high quality software and meet customer needs.
Our small team in Cluj Napoca is looking for their next colleague!
You will be part of a team of developers working on mainly two different MindMaze products : MindMotion Go and Companion. As a key member of the team, you will be tasked with defining and improving the product architectures in order to provide better test coverage and automation.
We count on you to also improve the test infrastructure and contribute to the design the test vision across our product portfolio.
In this role you will:
- Work towards implementing automation strategies
- Design and write test automation scripts
- Use test automation frameworks
- Investigate problems in software as a result of testing
- Be actively involved in release planning and estimating test efforts
- Help monitor, measure, identify, and prioritize issues discovered during testing for resolution
- Collaborate and test in an Agile development environment
- Analyze and communicate test results to engineering team and manager
- Track production defects and qualify those on a timely basis
- Document all bugs in our tracking tool, and systematically follow QA best practices
- Complete tasks on time and communicate any impediments to the engineering team and management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 to 5 minimum years of relevant experience in testing software, Web applications, and/or Mobile applications
- Ability to write advanced test programs using common test frameworks such as: C#, .Net test frameworks (such as xUnit.), Unity test framework, Gherkin and testing using Cucumber
- Experience working with automation scripts
- Experience in planning, documenting, and reviewing test cases/suites and their related code parts.
- Experience with manual functional and regression testing
- Familiarity with games and game-play
- Understanding of computer hardware components
