The Role

Paradromics is searching for a creative, experienced, and motivated Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team. The MarComm Specialist will primarily focus on content and graphics creation, social media and editorial plan execution, and communication of company branding and messaging through all marketing channels. As part of an agile team at a growing start-up, you’ll have the opportunity to flex all of your MarComm skills (and likely stretch to learn some new ones). Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the marketing team to plan media initiatives that engage target audiences through appropriate channels (e.g. social media, PR, web)
  • Provides in-house design support for Marketing and other groups, as needed (e.g. social media posts, document and presentation templates, infographics)
  • Contributes to content development by writing, editing, and proofreading copy, digital content, presentations, and social media posts
  • Responsible for the day-to-day tactical implementation of the social media and editorial calendar
  • Provides in-house photography support (e.g. taking and editing employee and product photographs)
  • Contributes to design briefs provided to outside consultants/firms and effectively works with external firms/consultants on marketing-related deliverables
  • Conducts basic in-house web maintenance as needed
  • Supports literature fulfillment, printing, and other production of physical collateral at vendors
  • Produces marketing reports by working with applications such as Google Analytics, SEO reporting, and in-platform analytics to develop campaign insights and ROI
  • Helps facilitate the content review, approval, and release process
  • Supports corporate and industry meeting and event planning efforts, ensuring consistent branding in signage, collateral, and booth design
  • Up to 10% Travel

 

Hard Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing or Corporate Communications.
  • Proficient in document and presentation creation in Microsoft and Google suites.
  • Proficient in digital communications, email marketing (e.g. Mailchimp), and social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Skilled with typical design software for print and digital graphics (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Functional understanding of Webflow, WordPress, CSS, and html for basic website updates.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, AdWords, and SEO.
  • Experience with copy editing and proofreading with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with short format video and audio editing and production.
  • Experience managing third party contractors.

  • Prioritizes efforts and uses time efficiently to meet project and corporate goals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical Device industry experience
