Job Title: Manager-Neurodiagnostic Services
Department: Neurology | Neurology Administration
Scope of Position: Neurodiagnostic manager assumes accountability for all functions of the department.
Position Summary:
Assumes overall administrative responsibilities and directs the programs and personnel related to the Neurodiagnostic Services. In collaboration with the Director Neurosciences and department Medical Directors, the manager is responsible for the assessment and maintenance of the quality aspects, inclusive of EMG. Assists the director in the throughput operation of the clinical laboratories and oversees human resource activities. The manager assists with developing and implementing performance initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes and patient satisfaction. The manager will also be responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, direction, and implementation / modification of existing clinical programs of these services as they relate to the Medical Center.
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Certification through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists in one of the following is required: EEG, EP, EMG, IOM, Autonomics.
- 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
