Business Unit And Project:

As the global market leader in the cardiopulmonary equipment space, we are in the process of launching Essenz, our next generation perfusion system, and are in search of a Project Manager, a key role in the success of this exciting new technology for North America.

Operational excellence is a key pillar of our LivaNova Cardiopulmonary business and, as our business grows and our Essenz platform evolves, effective project management initiatives and services will present you with strategic opportunities for further development of this role!

 

The Role

A day in your life as our Project Manager for Essenz Implementation will include:

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors, consultants, and customers) to create project plans, managing project documentation, deliverables and client expectations, and reporting project status, among other project management responsibilities.
  • You will be accountable for the successful implementation of the Essenz Perfusion System at hospitals by managing tasks performed by a cross-functional team, driving deliverables, and effectively communicating timelines and expectations between internal resources and external customers, including: Sales, Clinical Specialists, Field Service, Marketing, Data Security, Perfusionists, Hospital Purchasing, and Hospital IT.
  • Our next generation system includes both software and hardware components. With the launch quickly approaching, we are looking to you to set up tools and drive these projects across the finish-line and to work closely with our LivaNova colleagues to meet our North America goals. What you’ll bring:

Must-haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field (required)
  • Work experience: 5+ years project planning, implementation and client management (required)
  • Working experience with web-based collaborative project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday, Smartsheets, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary internal and external stakeholders, at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate internal and external resources
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams skills
  • High degree of job ownership and business sense of urgency

 

Preferred

  • Healthcare software implementations
  • Experience working in a SaaS-based environment
  • Experience using and implementing Lean or Six Sigma practices
  • PMP Certification
  • Master’s Degree or MBA
