Position Summary

The main responsibility of this position is to design, develop, evaluate, and maintain electronic systems and components. The person in this role will use electronic CAD software to create custom PCBA designs, participate in testing and debug, as well as supporting all technical electronic aspects of our products.

What Will You Do

• Design, debug, and documentation of PCBs and electromechanical assemblies.
• Root cause analysis and issue diagnosis.
• Ideate and propose solutions for improving our products.
• Cross-functional collaboration with other engineering concentrations and other functions in the company.
• Define requirements and specifications.
• Perform risk analysis for medical device products.
• Perform testing of designs for functionality, reliability, usability, durability, etc.
• Support of obsolescence and alternative component selection for on-market products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with and enforce compliance with established information security and privacy policies and standards and act in accordance with instructions and procedures received.

What Do You Need

Required:

• University degree in an applicable engineering field (i.e. Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, etc.).
• Experience in circuit design, both analog and digital.
• Experience in design for manufacturing (DFM).
• Circuit testing and instrumentation.
• Design and procedures documentation.
• Experience in design for EMC.

Valuable:

• Experience with Industrial design/CAD tools.
• Medical equipment regulation.
• Bio-measurement circuit design.
• MSc in Biomedical Engineer.
• Medical device or other regulated industry experience.
