About the Role:

This position is a critical role that will report to the Manager, Accounting and will be responsible for applying US GAAP to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely monthly close activities, and ensure the appropriate internal control procedures. The successful candidate will maintain accounts for all transactions and play a central role in the month end close process. The role also will encompass expansion of business processes conducted in NetSuite and applications that integrate with the ERP.

This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Accounting Manager and Controller to manage accounting and general ledger activities to ensure an accurate monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Analyze month end fluctuations in general ledger accounts.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reporting for internal leadership.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including both the readiness, the execution, and the preparation of supporting schedules.
  • Drive process improvement and automation efforts to streamline Accounting operations and improve the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and internal controls.
  • Work with other departments in an accounting-related matter.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience in accounting or finance, preference for experience working at a public company and/ or public accounting firm.
  • CPA or progress toward a CPA preferred but not required.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other large ERPs is a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create robust, scalable and flexible financial and operational models.
  • Commitment to process improvement and the ability to think “outside the box”.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, understanding of SOX.
  • Highly organized, independent and self-motivated; committed to delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work product.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in startup environment preferred, particularly in software or healthcare industries.
  • Experience integrating software systems is preferred.
